One important key to the success of the West End Neighborhood Study will be the active participation of stakeholders in the West End. To that end, the study team will assemble a Neighborhood Advisory Committee—including residents, business and property owners, and community leaders—to guide us throughout the study. Starting in the spring, we will begin to hold community-based public meetings to help define the vision for the neighborhood, to identify and better understand the major problems and opportunities that exist, and to start to develop ideas to address these issues. These meetings will be widely publicized, and everyone interested is invited to participate. If you would like to get involved, please submit your contact information here.
Upcoming opportunities for participation:
The next Neighborhood Advisory Committee meeting will be held after the new year in 2009. When the date has been set and materials are available for this next meeting, they will be posted here.
